My Roads, My Life - Whenever I see a new road, I experience two temptations. One is to run on it and the other is to take a journey to its end. I like dirty roads... We can leave our marks on them, so the wind and the rain can wash them out, one by one. I've taken lots of roads in my life. At age of 16 I took my first road from my little hometown in Northeast of Brazil to the magnificent Sao Paulo. A day came when I took another road to California; the road to the Silicon Valley was full of dreams. When I was getting used to the roads of California, I received a call to take a new road to Germany. It was six exciting years of journeying in Europe. Now I am back in California, for how long? Till I see a new road. I learned how to choose my roads. How do I do it? I listen to my inner self, I extract the answers from my heart.

Sam Keen :: Writer & Philosopher

I can't remember a time when I didn't ask questions. When I was a child I would lie on the bank of a small stream in Tennessee, look up at the changing landscapes of the clouds, and wonder where everything came from and how I was supposed to fit into this wide, wild world. I noticed that adults all seemed to have The Answers to the big questions and did not appreciate my questions and doubts. My restless mind drove me to study theology and philosophy at Harvard and Princeton and I was a professor at various legitimate institutions for 20 years before I resigned to become a freelance thinker, lecturer, seminar leader and consultant. The big idea that has animated me came from the observation that most people lived in and through the myths, scripts and stories - The Answers - with which they had been indoctrinated. And, if that was the case, I reasoned, it might be possible to throw out the old myths and create one's own story. This autobiographical approach has been the essence of my philosophy of life. My credo is: I have a story; therefore I am. If you find your own story and don't settle for the myths you have been programed to believe, you will discover your bliss. At least, I am pretty sure this is true.

The little hummingbird - As a young girl my dream was to travel and to know the world beyond my small town in Costa Rica. My chances were slim, for many people this dream could be achievable, but for me it could be just a dream. My willingness was stronger than my own reality, and one day I left my town to live it. I have experienced living in four different countries. Now, I travel often and I am passionate about taking pictures of places and people. Meeting people from different nationalities, listening to their stories, and seeing how beautiful our planet is made me understand how I am connected to everybody and everything. Through accomplishing my dream I learned about myself, I realized how important it is for me to do little things to make our planet even more beautiful.

I'm sharing with you a story on how doing little things can help: "This little bird was trying to extinguish the fire at the forest while all the other animals, big and small, were running away from it. When the elephant was running away and saw what the hummingbird was doing, he stop and asked him, why are you doing this? The little hummingbird answered: I am just doing my part."

I was born in Brazil, and raised in Sao Paulo City. The last 10 years I've been hiding alone in the rainforest, growing my vegetables and getting rid of old and unnecessary stuff. In 2005 I still didn't have an email account, but nowadays I cannot imagine myself without a laptop... My life now is about experiencing the joy, peace and wisdom that comes from living in the present.

I was born in Brazil, Piracicaba, and 30 years ago I graduated in engineering by Unicamp. I worked in Sao Paulo and lived in the countryside for most of live, and slowly I migrated to the commercial area. I had a very important phase on my life, at 40, which was knowing Spiritism, which really changed my life and I started to look for opportunities diferently, and goals even more different than the ones I was having in my life and career. Today, I have the chance to work on YuBliss Team, which is a unique opportunity to use my new life's perspective.

I'm brazilian, I was born in Rio Grande, RS. I am graduated in Computer Engineering by FURG (Fundação Universidade Federal do Rio Grande). As a truly brazilian and gaucho I love barbecue and soccer and I'm fan of Sport Club Internacional :)

I have been working with Internet technologies since the last 9 years and I also work with research on robotics and computer vision. Web 2.0 and Social Networks are areas where I can practice all my curiosity and criativity. And YuBliss is an example of that.

Igor Justino :: Technology

My interest in tecnology has started a long time ago, when computers didn't even have a 'multimedia kit', and continued until I graduated in Computer Science at Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS). Now I have the chance to work with something that I really like, so what's more? Much more, as we never stop learning. Have been working with Web for a time. It's always a challenge trying to improve myselft, and so YuBliss have become a great technical and personal experience.
