Coffee Bean Technology Corporation ('CBT') under the tradename 'YuBliss' provides a collection of online resources, including without limitation an interactive process to share stories and experiences that help to identify and prioritize lifestyle and behavioral patterns that are important to the user (collectively referred to hereafter as our 'Service'). Our Privacy Policy tells you how we use and protect your personal information.

  1. Scope
    This privacy policy describes how we handle your personal information for the Service available through www.yubliss.com (our 'Web Site'). By using the Service or accessing the Web Site, you expressly consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is effective upon acceptance for new users and is otherwise effective on October 10th, 2007. We will post revisions to this Privacy Policy from the prior version at http://www.yubliss.com/privacy.html, so you can see what has changed and what is new. If you object to our use of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy, please do not use our Service.

  2. Data Collection
    You can browse our Web Site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. Once you give us your personal information, you are not anonymous to us. If you choose to provide us with personal information, you consent to the transfer and storage of that information to our servers.

    3. We may collect and store the following personal information:

    • user profile information, name, email address, physical address, telephone number, and gender;
    • other personal information you choose to provide when you use the Service;
    • your correspondence through our Web Site (including without limitation community discussions, chats, and blogs); and
    • IP address, computer sign-on data, web log information including page views, traffic to and from our Web Site, traffic to and from other user pages within the Web Site, advertising data and other information.

    We use 'cookies' (small data files stored on the user's hard drive) on certain pages within the Web Site to help analyze our traffic flow, customize our Service, measure promotional effectiveness, and promote trust and safety. A few important things you should know about cookies are the following:

    • we offer certain features that are only available through use of cookies;
    • we use cookies to help identify you and maintain your signed-in status;
    • most cookies are 'session cookies,' meaning that they are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of a session;

    On certain pages of our Web Site, you may encounter cookies from third parties that we do not control.     You acknowledge and agree that this Privacy Policy: (i) applies solely to information we collect through the Web Site; (ii) covers only our own use of cookies; (iii) does not cover the use of cookies or other tracking technologies by any other parties, including advertisers, who provide links to our Web Site; nor are we responsible for such third parties' privacy practices.

  3. User Profile and Privacy Settings
    When you register to use the Service, you create your personal profile and you will be assigned a User ID for your use of our Web Site. Currently, there are no privacy restrictions on activities undertaken or information posted by users through our Service. In the future, however, we plan to implement a system of privacy settings, through which users will be able to grant different levels of access to their personal information and activities on the Web Site to other users and thereby connect with other users and exchange information at different levels. Please keep in mind that your User ID will be available to anyone who visits the Web Site (whether or not they are registered users), and all of your activities on the Web Site will be traceable to your User ID. Therefore, if you associate your name with your User ID, other users who know your name may be able to personally identify your YuBliss activities.

    We may occasionally use your name and email address to send you Service- related notifications and updates regarding the Web Site. When other users, who are within your privacy settings, send you a message through the Service, you may receive an email notification from us. You may opt out of such emails within your profile settings, although we reserve the right to send you notices about your account even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications.

  4. Our Use of Your Information
    Our primary purpose in collecting personal information is to provide you with a safe, smooth, efficient, and customized experience on our Web Site. You agree that we may use your personal information to:

    • provide the Service and any relevant user support that may be necessary or useful;
    • troubleshoot problems;
    • prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities from occurring in connection with our Service, and enforce our User Agreement;
    • customize, measure, and improve our Service and our Web Site's content and layout;
    • tell you about targeted marketing, service updates, and promotional offers based on your communicated preferences; and
    • compare information for accuracy, and verify it with third parties.

  5. Our Disclosure of Your Information
    Subject to optional privacy settings (which we intend to implement at a future time), visitors to our Web Site are able to view all personal info of our users that is posted to the Web Site. We may further disclose your personal information to respond to legal requirements, enforce our policies, respond to claims that a listing or other content violates the rights of others, or protect anyone's rights, property, or safety. To this end, we may share your personal information with:

    • our internal personnel or external contracted agents to detect and prevent potentially illegal acts;
    • service providers under contract who help with our business operations (including without limitation those who conduct investigations for fraud, intellectual property infringement, piracy, or other unlawful activity);
    • other users of our Service who are within your indicated privacy setting;
    • law enforcement or other governmental officials, in response to a verified request relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity; and
    • other business entities, should we plan to merge with, or be acquired by that entity. (Should such a combination occur, we will require that the new combined entity follow this privacy policy with respect to your personal information. If your personal information will be used contrary to this policy, you will receive prior notice.)

    Without limiting the above, we will not otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties without a subpoena, court order or substantially similar legal procedure, except when we believe in good faith that the disclosure of information is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss or to report suspected illegal activity.

  6. Your Use and Disclosure of Information through YuBliss
    Our Service enables you to share personal information not only with YuBliss but also with other Web Site users (whose actions we do not control). We encourage you to disclose your own privacy practices to others and respect their stated privacy concerns. We cannot guarantee the privacy or security of any information you post on the Web Site (although we allow you to set certain privacy restrictions with respect to third parties) and therefore we encourage you to evaluate the privacy and security policies of third parties before choosing to share your information with them. Depending on the privacy settings you choose, other users may have access directly through our Web Site to your name, User ID, email address, and other personal information and preferences you post to the Web Site. In addition, users may exchange additional personal and/or financial information through emails transmitted through use of our Service. In all cases, you must give other users a chance to remove themselves from your database and a chance to review what information you have collected about them.

    You agree to use information accessed through our Web Site only for:

    • YuBliss's stated purposes (and nothing that comprises unsolicited commercial messages).
    • the Services provided by YuBliss.
    • other purposes that a users expressly choose and agrees to among themselves.

  7. Marketing
    We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent. Although we do not tell third parties who our users are, by clicking on advertisements posted on our Web Site you may inadvertently provide advertisers with your IP address and enable them to download cookies to your computer. This allows them to recognize your computer when advertisements are clicked and they are able to compile information about your interests and patterns as a user. We may also combine your information with data we collect from other users and/or other companies (such as demographic data) to improve and personalize our Service, so that advertisements and promotions posted on our Web Site will be more in line with users' preferences. We may send you notices or provide displays we believe are relevant to your interests based on the information you have posted using our Service. If you do not wish to receive such marketing communications from us, simply indicate your preference when you sign on to our Web Site, or by following the directions in the relevant emailed notice.

  8. No Spam, Spyware or Spoofing
    We and our users do not tolerate spam. Make sure to set your YuBliss notification preferences so we communicate with you as you prefer. You are not licensed to add other YuBliss users, even a user who has communicated with directly through our Web Site, to your mailing list (email or physical mail) without their express consent. To report spam or spoof emails to YuBliss, please forward the email to spam@yubliss.com or spoof@yubliss.com. You may not use our communication tools to send spam or otherwise send content that would violate our User Agreement or this Privacy Policy. We filter and automatically scan messages for viruses and other illegal or prohibited content before they are sent but we do not permanently store email messages sent through these tools and we cannot guaranty that all undesirable content will be detected and/or deleted. If while using our Service you send an email to an address that is not registered on our Web Site (using our online referral service or another tool), we do not permanently store that email or use that email address for any marketing purpose. We do not rent or sell any such email addresses.

  9. Account Protection
    Your password is the key to your YuBliss account. You should always use unique numbers, letters, and special characters in your password and you should not disclose your YuBliss password to anyone. If you do share your password or your personal information with others, remember that you are responsible for all actions that another may take while using your name. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personal information and you may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately notify YuBliss and change your password.

  10. Accessing, Reviewing and Changing Your Personal Information
    You can see, review and change most of your personal information by logging into our Web Site. Generally, we will not manually modify your personal information because it is very difficult to verify your identity remotely. You must promptly update your personal information if it changes or is inaccurate. Once you make a public posting, you may not be able to change or remove it. Upon your request, we will close your account and remove your personal information from view as soon as reasonably possible, based on your account activity and in accordance with applicable law. We retain personal information from closed accounts in order to comply with law, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our User Agreement, and take other actions otherwise permitted by law.

  11. Security
    Your personal information is stored on our servers and we treat all user data as an asset that must be protected. We use many different tools (such as encryption, passwords, firewalls, security software, etc.) to protect your personal information against unauthorized access and disclosure. However, as you probably know, third parties may unlawfully hack into our computer systems and/or intercept or access transmissions or private communications containing your personal information. It is also possible that other users may abuse or misuse your personal information they collect from our Web Site. Therefore, although we work very hard to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain private.

  12. Third Parties
    Except as otherwise expressly included in this Privacy Policy, this document addresses only the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. If you disclose your information to third parties through use of our Web Site, through other web sites, or through general use of the Internet, different rules may apply to other parties' use or disclosure of the information you disclose to them. Since YuBliss does not control the privacy policies of third parties, you are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties. We encourage you to ask questions before you disclose your personal information to other parties.

  13. General
    We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the amended terms at http://www.yubliss.com/privacy.html. All amended terms automatically take effect 30 days after they are initially posted. In addition, we will notify you of new information related to your account in accordance with the notification preferences you specified when you registered to use our Service.
